Ivana Smudja is a film director based in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She graduated in 2009 with a degree in film direction from the European Institute of Design in Milan. Since 2012, she has worked in the commercial film industry, first as an assistant director and later as a director. During her formative years, she also worked at Teatro Piccolo di Milano and Vice Italy, where she developed a documentary-style approach, blending it with her distinctive artistic vision.
